STREETWEAR FASHION

I worked as a designer for KORELIMITED, where I developed my ability to express and expand cultural narratives through fashion using art, design, and illustration. My role involved contributing to creative direction, producing tech packs, and supporting the design process from concept to execution. I also participated in pop-up events, assisted with social media marketing, and built strong networking skills within the fashion and creative communities.

Concept & Inspiration

At KORELIMITED,
I had the opportunity to design a commemorative apparel set centered around the historic March 1st Movement. The March 1st Movement of 1919 marked one of the most significant civilian uprisings in Korean history. It is a pivotal moment in Korea’s fight for independence. This collection was created not only as wearable design, but as a visual tribute to resilience, unity, and national identity.

Inspired by the courage of the demonstrators who gathered peacefully to declare independence, I aimed to translate that spirit into modern streetwear silhouettes that resonate with today’s generation while honoring the past.

The collection draws from: Archival typography inspired by the original Declaration of Independence, handwritten-style calligraphy elements referencing protest documents, symbolic references to the Flag of South Korea (Taegeukgi), reinterpreted in a minimal, contemporary format.

Concept & Inspiration

Working at KORELIMITED on the T1 collaboration (T1, one of the most iconic and successful teams in competitive League of Legends, known for multiple World Championship titles and legendary player Lee Sang-hyeok), I gained hands-on experience designing for a spring collection that merged streetwear with esports culture. I helped develop concepts that balanced both brands’ identities, incorporating seasonal elements such as floral patterns, mother-of-pearl textures inspired by Korean heritage, and norigae-style detailing.

This experience strengthened my ability to translate cultural storytelling into clean, cohesive designs while maintaining strong brand consistency and audience appeal. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment also taught me how to streamline ideas effectively and contribute to designs that resonate with a global fanbase.
