STREETWEAR FASHION

I worked as a designer for KORELIMITED, where I developed my ability to express and expand cultural narratives through fashion using art, design, and illustration. My role involved contributing to creative direction, producing tech packs, and supporting the design process from concept to execution. I also participated in pop-up events, assisted with social media marketing, and built strong networking skills within the fashion and creative communities.

In honor of Kim Jung Gi’s legacy and his extraordinary passion for illustration, I led the creative direction for this KORE collaboration, celebrating his unmatched ability to bring stories, movement, and emotion to life through pen and ink. The collection draws inspiration from his distinctive artistic language, where intricate linework and spontaneous mark-making transform everyday moments into powerful visual narratives.

The project also pays tribute to the Korean culture deeply reflected throughout his work. His illustrations demonstrated the depth and versatility of Korean artistic identity while pushing the boundaries of what illustration could achieve. Through this collaboration, the goal was not simply to recreate his style, but to celebrate the vision he left behind—the idea that art can transcend technique, capture culture, and create an enduring connection between the artist and the viewer.

Apparel Concept & Inspiration

At KORELIMITED,
I had the opportunity to design a commemorative apparel set centered around the historic March 1st Movement. The March 1st Movement of 1919 marked one of the most significant civilian uprisings in Korean history. It is a pivotal moment in Korea’s fight for independence. This collection was created not only as wearable design, but as a visual tribute to resilience, unity, and national identity.

Inspired by the courage of the demonstrators who gathered peacefully to declare independence, I aimed to translate that spirit into modern streetwear silhouettes that resonate with today’s generation while honoring the past.

The collection draws from: Archival typography inspired by the original Declaration of Independence, handwritten-style calligraphy elements referencing protest documents, symbolic references to the Flag of South Korea (Taegeukgi), reinterpreted in a minimal, contemporary format.

In preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, KORELIMITED collaborated with LA REDS to build a watch party community in Los Angeles that celebrated soccer, culture, and Korean identity. As part of this initiative, I designed a limited-edition apparel and accessories collection, including a graphic T-shirt line, a supporter cape, and a custom bandana. The collection was created to unify fans through wearable pieces that reflected the energy of international football and the spirit of community gathering. My work focused on concept development, apparel design, product design, and accessories, translating the excitement of the World Cup into functional merchandise for supporters and event attendees.

Designed an exclusive apparel line for KORELIMITED’s Las Vegas pop-up event celebrating the BTS Arirang Tour. The collection was inspired by BTS’s signature purple color palette and incorporated elements of traditional Korean culture, blending contemporary streetwear aesthetics with heritage-inspired motifs to create unique event merchandise that resonated with fans and honored Korean identity.

Designed and developed a lookbook collage for the KORELIMITED website to showcase the Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Curated and arranged visual assets to create a cohesive and engaging digital presentation that reflected the collection’s seasonal aesthetic, brand identity, and key product stories. Collaborated with the creative and merchandising teams to ensure the lookbook delivered a compelling user experience while effectively highlighting the collection’s design direction and styling concepts.
