Brand Identity / Illustration

This is a custom promotion created for The Nike SNKRS Application. Nike frequently releases sneakers in a variety of colors and unique designs. I’ve applied different colorways to distinct shoes and incorporated individual personalities into each design. The application also provides special promotions in sales and discounts based on monthly voted favorites and the most popular sneakers globally. The poster blends both fashion and style. With characters prominently wearing sneakers, I named the series “Styler Stompers” to reflect its theme.

Character Design

In developing this project, I carefully curated a selection of sneakers that blend both iconic and alternative perspectives. While several choices feature the most popular and widely recognized colorways, others reimagine oversaturated models through unique variations. This contrast not only demonstrates an appreciation for established design but also highlights a willingness to explore unconventional approaches, celebrating diversity and creativity within art and design. Beyond their visual appeal, I aim to personify each sneaker, treating them as characters with distinct personalities and stories to capture the emotion, attitude, and identity that each design embodies.

When I think about sneakers, I see them as more than just footwear—they're an embodiment of the people who wear them. Every pair reflects personality, interests, experiences, and identity. The colors, materials, patterns, and even the condition of a sneaker tell a story about its owner. My thought process was centered on translating individuality into a wearable object, treating the sneaker as a canvas for self-expression rather than simply a product. Through custom materials, handcrafted details, and intentional design choices, I wanted to create a piece that captures how people present themselves to the world and how something as everyday as a sneaker can become a reflection of who they are.
