¹FIVE PICK PORTRAITS
A personal illustration series celebrating five of my favorite underrated NBA players from the 2019 season. Rather than focusing solely on statistics, rankings, or athletic performance, this project explores each player's unique identity, personality, and impact through a creative visual lens.
I translated my perspective of each athlete into vibrant, character-driven illustrations that highlight their individual energy, style, and presence on and off the court. Through expressive colors, exaggerated elements, and unique visual storytelling, each piece reimagines these players as more than competitors — but as personalities who bring their own artistry and influence to the game of basketball.
This series explores the idea that basketball is not only defined by performance, but by the characters, stories, and emotions that make the sport memorable.
²DENVER v TIMBERWOLVES
A personal illustration exploring the competitive spirit of the 2023 NBA Playoffs through the visual storytelling of team mascots. This poster concept imagines the Denver Nuggets’ Mountain Lion and the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Timberwolf as powerful symbolic figures battling for championship glory.
Rather than focusing solely on the players and the game itself, this piece explores the identity, mythology, and emotion behind each franchise. Through dramatic character design, dynamic composition, and expressive illustration, the artwork transforms a playoff matchup into a larger-than-life visual narrative that represents team pride, rivalry, and the passion of basketball culture.
This project reimagines the NBA beyond athletic competition — where mascots become characters, rivalries become stories, and basketball becomes a canvas for artistic expression.
³RIP CITY SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST
A shirt design concept created for the 2026 Trail Blazers Opening Night Design Contest. Inspired by the spirit of Rip City, this illustration reimagines the team’s identity as a blazing feline representing strength, passion, and relentless energy. The design transforms basketball culture into wearable art, celebrating the connection between the team and its fans.
